You will also acquire knowledge about factors used in determining your credit score, who can inquire about your credit history and how you can get a free credit report. In addition, you will gain an understanding of the credit cycle and how it affects you.
College Credit For Life (Video)
The National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) has created a nine minute video designed to teach students important lessons surrounding the temptations and responsible use of credit cards. The DVD features young people talking about the mistakes they themselves made in college. It also includes others in the form of an apartment rental agent, a car salesman, and a human resources executive, all discussing the implications that both responsible or irresponsible use of credit can have as students prepare to move on from college and into the real world. This workshop will encompass watching the video and also a presentation on financial responsibility from one of our certified counselors.
